Tuesday, April 28, 2009 - 02:18 GMT i had this issues running multiple amps but either way i'd install a relay.. if that does not fix it then you have an issue with the wire itself its a simple thing to install.. will also get rid of turn on/off thump if you have it

Tuesday, April 28, 2009 - 02:48 GMT Anyone use a dmm at the remote wire? Does it have power with ot without RCA's connected? Could very well be a grounding issue... Polo

Tuesday, April 28, 2009 - 02:51 GMT x2, relay is the way to go. Hate to see you kill your battery if you forget the switch once. If you tried hooking up a length of wire straight from the remote out to your amp before actually running it under the carpet or anything (just to test) and it still did it then maybe the h/u's you tried have too low an output voltage for some reason? You could also try going off your ignition harness instead of h/u. It's tough to say without seeing it in person but the relay will be faster to install than messing with it much more. Best luck.
