Pretty nice looking layouts, but they are still horribly over-rated. I hate to simply go by fuse size to determine how much power an amp can produce, but when they over-rate them as bad as PA does it's really all you can do. The bamf40001 has 3x40's, coincidentally that's the same as the AQ1200D which is assumed to do rated power and a little more. 1500w for that PA would be very optimistic. I'd call it 1200-1400w at min impedance (1 ohm), and I'd guess around 900 at 2 ohms. So 400w or so per sub. FWIW - those subs should work well anywhere from 300-600w each. You just get more SPL as you get closer to 600. The difference between 400 and 600 each wouldn't be significant. |
