I am choosing between the Panasonic CQ-RX400U or Kenwood KDC-MP438U but here is my problem... I am looking for a head unit that offers Sub Preamp Output (Kenwood KDC-MP438U) but I want the Panasonic CQ-RX400U because its nicer (correct me if im wrong) but it only offers 4-channel not 6-channel. Obviously im looking for the best possible bass for my system and was wondering which one I should choose? In the topic https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/8367.html GlassWolf says you can use a 4-channel output for an amplifier powering subs as long as the amp has "a built in low-pass crossover". Would it matter in this situation or would the 6-channel Kenwood be a wiser choice for stronger bass?
