Tuesday, March 24, 2009 - 13:03 GMT the sundown puts out a lot cleaner power than what u have now. but keep in mind if u double the power u will gain 3dBs. but something twice as loud to the human ears is 10 dB. that sundown amp rocks! i would get it for sure

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 02:27 GMT lol well im not really worried about me telling the difference in loudness im wanting the mic to tell the difference. because i was very disappointed at the last show i went to i could only hit a 136 off music an someone there with the same set up in a sealed box could hit a 139.

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 18:38 GMT yes please post pics, and no you wont really gain by doing a common chamber box, there is more than likely something wrong with the box, who built it or is it a prefab box?

Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 00:08 GMT from everything that I have tried. The common chambered box is usually louder in a ported enclosure.. Different story if it is sealed. If Ported (for sure) and sealed (probably) the 2-L7 setup will be noticely louder to the ear and on the mic with the Sundown... I have recently gained 4 db from amp swap(hifonics was 2 of em- rd was the other) Sell the Hofics locally and get the sundown... You will not be dissapointed so long as your enclosure is right

Thursday, March 26, 2009 - 02:28 GMT few guys in town have around 2.8-3.5 cubic f boxes for both subs togeather not sure just looks around there and alot of port area tuned to 58 hz doing about 148db so not THE best for music but sick loud for what they have thats on a TL and 2400 rms from a rf db2000(think there called) i wouldnt think 144 or so would be hard on music with a saz1500
