I currently have 2 1200 watt 12 inch subs in my room, looking to put them in my car when i blow the candles for the big 16th im asking for a amp for my birthday, for 2 1200 watt 12's how many watts and what kind..?
RMS is 400 on each. I'd look at a Rockford T5001BD, it's rated 500 @ 1 ohm but it'll put out more like 800-900 range. I've seen some putting out 1,000+.
