(I know it's a security feature but what a pain)! After reviewing some threads here I realize not only is the VIN necessary to obtain the code, but pertinent info about the radio itself ---Can I use a small tool to try to pop it out or do I need to trek all the way to the dealership? The radio is original to the car and it just says "Mercedes Benz" on the front, nothing more. Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Would you believe when I went out to my car, the radio code was in the glove box (left in there from the first owner 4 years ago). I've since taken it out and placed it in safekeeping. And, oh, the code worked fine and I'm up and singing again. Thanks!! |
