Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 02:49 GMT preferred method of mounting, as opposed to seperate boxes? I had one kid tell me each sub in its own box was more 'bang for the buck', just wondering if that was all bullsh!t or what

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 04:39 GMT if they are the same subs with the same power to each, it doesn't really matter if the volume is shared. it's shared outside the box which is half the enclosure equation anyway

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 04:41 GMT That sounds like a bunch of BS. How is that the best bang for your buck? Sounds like your spending more for all the boxes for each sub. One box for multiple sub setup FTW

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 14:37 GMT If you are aiming towards strick SPL on the meter, then yes, sometimes using seperate chambers can help you out. Will you notice it by ear? Most likely not.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 18:53 GMT do u mean rather than build 2 separate boxes OR 1 box the same size as 2 with a divider : exact same specs\cuft\port if yes then 1 big box is easier to build but shud be the same output as 2 separate boxes ...

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 20:37 GMT haha well the options my friend set up for the first sh!t system were on very wide, VERY shallow box to mount behind bucket seats on a truck, or two slightly deeper, taller boxes one behind each side of the seat. He said it would sound better in the two.
