I am not a big fan of FI so it would be an easy choice for me, but you can not ignore the accomplishments and reputation of FI's monster (BTL) They get loud as hell and are being used by a lot of reputable builders(S. Meade ect...) I do know that the axis does great in smaller enclosures and I wanted to try a pair of em. I guess a good question would be, is your BTL an older sub(known to have tinsel slap issues) or a new fixed tinsel sub? Does that make sense? for the record, I vote Axis. |

The BTL is brand new i have never even heard it so i cannot say weather or not i am satisfied. Only reason i want to trade is because if i go the BTL route then i am stuck with one 15" BTL unless i trade it or sell it for somthing else, i do not have room to run 2 15" btl's due to the large diameter magnet. if i get the AP i have the ability to fit a second one if i want to. I guess you could say im trying to save space but really im trying to maximize the efficiency of the space i have. as for trust in the other party i do not know him personally but he has ref's on ca.com. |

They were both loud as fu<k. The Btl was a daily setup, but wasn't very musical imo. The Axis's were in a f@rt box. Take it for what it's worth. |
