Silver Member Username: M0nstarToledo, OH U.S. Post Number: 155 Registered: Dec-08 | Rovin, my brother keeps nagging me about making his 15" L7 a box. He already has one thats 36x19x15.75 or something (external). well anyways, he made the box, and its not possible to function right, so he wants me to fix it. do you know how much port area it would need? i already did the math but i wanted to double check. oh, FTW he wants it the same "style" as that type R build you did. sub on one side port on the other. |

Post Number: 14737 Registered: Jul-05 | sup chad tyler sliva - im in another country so better u ask some1 nearby for a quote, im sure ppl on this forum can build it for u MisterLDR using those external dimensions & 3\4" mdf , ur box is roughly = 4.89149cuft without sub\port displacement , usually kicker rec big cuft boxes like 5-6.5cuft for a square 15" i did a 15" L7 while ago with about 4 cuft due to lack of trunk space sounded decent but sure it cud have been better with a bigger box u want at least than 12sq" of port\cuft...15-16 would be better.... tuned about 38hz = "sql" .... |
