Good HU for new type X & pdx 1.1000 setup?

Bronze Member Username: Camdry90Sudbury, Ontario Canada Post Number: 11 Registered: Jan-09 | So i'm looking in this http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=iDA-X305 headunit and was wondering how good the sound quality will be compared to cd sound quality... i have music formats on my iphone that include MPEG audio files... will this mean crappy sound quality?... i'm just stuck on what HU to get, one with a cd player or the ipod/iphone dedicated HU?? |

They few that I have used were very problematic and qwriky. It really suprised me since the CDA series are just about the best HUs out there, top quality stuff. |

Bronze Member Username: Camdry90Sudbury, Ontario Canada Post Number: 15 Registered: Jan-09 | ok guy's just got off the phone with alpine support, the guy said that the iphone will work with the 9887, and it will even charge it with an additional piece which is actually just an extension onto the dock connector... so i will probably scoop that up too... i too thought that deck w/o a cd player would be lame... especially from someone who still buys the odd cd for collector purposes... so if i buy a cd i can at least listen to it right away lol, thanks for all the input guys cheers! p.s. since alpine is releasing new headunits atm do you guys think that there will be a new deck coming soon to replace the 9887?? |
