New member Username: MaknutPost Number: 8 Registered: Jan-09 | I am looking at two Kicker CVR10 10" subs. 4 ohm total impedence, and 800 w rms total. I could get both for $100 total, and then get a box for $40, wiring kit for $20 (deals galore, huh?). But that still leaves me without an amp. Is it ok to go a little cheaper on the amp and under power the subs? The grand total for that package would be about $250 or so. Or, I could go for this package http://www.crutchfield.com/p_236MB210P/MTX-Magnum-Audio-MB210SP-Magna-Bass-Packa ge.html?o=r&tp=442 and ad the same wiring kit for $20, bring the total of this alternative to $190. It wouldn't be as much power, but it is significatnly cheaper. Any thoughts/suggestions/ other alternatives? Forgot to mention that I am driving a '94 Mustang with an after market Apline stereo and the MACH system option. |
