Sunday, February 01, 2009 - 18:31 GMT Hey, I have around 1200 to spend on my new subs, couple hundred for the set up, looking for new ideas. I previously had 2 12" MTX TS55's... I'm looking to go bigger I'm looking for good SQ and LOUD! haha.. Maybe 4 12's? I have a 99' Monte Carlo. Any ideas? Thanks

Monday, February 02, 2009 - 00:14 GMT if you want 4 12's in a monte carlo you will have to either 1)- build the box in the trunk 2) build a box thats too small (sarcasm) 2 15's would be better for you. perhaps 2 12s if their nice. W7(13/12), RE SE, RE XXX, Fi BTL, Fi Q, RD sonance, and RD alpha are all subs that people on here would recommend. some more than others. but in the end it will be up to you. if you have 1200 to spend some of those subs are off the list. just do some more research. RD audio and Fi are hard to find but very trustworthy. bump

Monday, February 02, 2009 - 06:03 GMT " RD audio and Fi are hard to find " Umm fail.... both are all over the used market. Fi can be ordered new from their website. Its only RD you have to find a dealer for and we have one on this forum (kevin holden)

Monday, February 02, 2009 - 17:01 GMT there r NOT many mtx fans on here so u know what to expect btw Q is for quality & the BL is for more loud than quality so BL should be a better comparison ...
