What electrical needed for the ZX2500.1!?!?!?!?

Jason Goodison New member Username: Jgood Post Number: 1 Registered: Jan-09	Posted on Sunday, February 01, 2009 - 05:03 GMT i recently got the kicker zx2500.1 and im going to be running just 2 12" L7s, or L5's for now.Ill be running 4 later and also the kicker ks 6.5 inch component sets...but i was wondering what would be recommended as far as a extra alternator, battery, etc. Vehicle is a 01 chevy tracker.

A lot depends more on your listening habits than on the charging system or the amplifier's maximum current draw. If you don't drive around at full volume, then it will have less of an effect than if you do, etc.. here: http://www.glasswolf.net/papers/charging.html there's some of the math to figure out what you could end up needing

The amp will still produce the same power at full output. It'll just be amplifying a much weaker and quieter source signal with higher distortion and lower SNR.
