The max # is strictly used in marketing and doesn't accurately represent anything. It's supposed to represent the product's TEMPORARY wattage threshold during music peaks but most companies (mainstream) bloat that number to increase specs that impress potential buyers. If you match your amps to any claimed max wattage # then you will have some cool looking door stoppers soon. |
