So, customer came in awhile back w/ a ~91 Cadillac Fleetwood. Someone had broken into the vehicle and ripped the Hu out...braking all the brackets when doing so. The customer wants another Hu installed and is on a tight budget. I show him a few used Hu's for $60-75. He doesn't want to spend that much on the radio.
Fast forward to today. Same guy comes in and says his buddy that works at a junkyard got him a radio. He brings it in and its a ~97 stock Ford Hu w/ a Cd stuck in it. He wants this installed. The dash is destroyed and I would have to build all new mounts and trim. He insists on me doing the labor and using the Ford Hu.
I kindly asked if he would please look around for a budget aftermarket piece.
