New member Username: Suys4uceMemphis, TN USA Post Number: 1 Registered: Jan-09 | I recently got 2 Dual Subwoofers from a friend who had gotten new ones http://www.dualav.com/carsubs/xnbp12d.html I really dont know much about amps so I need help finding an amp. What is a good brand amp to use with these two? Also, since theyll be around 2000w do you think ill need a separate battery or capacitor? Thanks. |

You should get an amp that does around 500-600 at 4 ohms. http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQamps.htm if those can handle a true 600w then that amp would power them fine, and it is a great amp too. And no you will not need an extra battery or a capicitor. |

Well then you need to find an amp that does 1200 at 2 ohms. I would get something like this. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19581 |

What are some good brand 12's (maybe even 15's) that you would recommend? I got a price budget around $500. |
