I posted this on the LowDown but got no response so Im trying again here.
I am going to be sealing around my sub box with some expanding foam and had a few questions for those of you who have done this before or have used expanding foam in general.
Is there a certain brand/type that is better suited for this job than others?
Any precautions to take or things to look out for when doing this?
Any other tips/advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

What a shame...I wonder why. You'd think such a booming forum would be able to help fast.
Anyhow, MOST expanding foam is pretty sticky and works as well as another. The one thing I do recommend is that you cover whatever it is you're applying it to with foil or masking tape in case you ever want to remove it otherwise it's going to be a serious b1tch to get off. Also, what's the purpose of sealing the box off? Are you trying to improve SPL? Make sure you coat that foam with resin or something along those lines...
I bought great stuff like over a year ago and was gonna use it. Never did though. I used the nozzle thing for something else though..... bet no one will guess what
Thanks for the input guys. I have my subs in the trunk of my car facing in towards the cabin, I was told that if I sealed the box off completely from the trunk that it would sound a little better and help output. Since I have half of it tore out of the car anyway to fix how the amp was mounted I figured I would give it a try.
Thanks again guys, I will post pics of the new amp setup and the foam (if it goes well) when I am finished.
