I never thought of this before, so i wonder and ask, what are the pro's and con's of a single enclosure compared to a dual?
Do you get more Db out of a dual or better frequency response?

do u mean 2 subs in 1 chamber with 1 port OR 2 subs in the same box & separated chambers with separate ports ?

1st 1 sounds louder thought the 2nd way sounds more cleaner ...

Really helpful, Snow...

Anyway, ad, take a look at the link that Rovin posted. With a bit of reading, you'll more than likely arrive at a more informed answer if not better questions.

You have to remember that how "good" something sounds also depends on the listener's taste. An enclosure that sounds "good" to me might not sound "good" to you.

''''''omg i said sealed above......im talking 1 sub in its own box compared to 2 subs in same box, same chamber, no divider between the 2 subs'''''

u really should be very specific to what u asking

so u mean using 2 subs in the same exact size box as 1 sub ? - that will mean each sub will be operating in 1\2 of what it should be in which will sound like @ss ....

You high, Snow? Go shoot some squirrels or something.

Rovin, unless ad corrects me here, he is referring to using 2 subs in two separate sealed enclosures versus 2 subs in one sealed (combined chamber) enclosure. I'm also assuming he means that dual sub enclosure has the same volume as the two separate ones combined.

Ad, it would help if you were clearer in the original topic. After you post, you get a preview. Read it over and make sure what you want to say comes across clearly.

lol. my old box was 2 12's that shared a center port, it sound ok. then i got a half assed trans line box with a divider between them. it sounded overall better no matter the music. if its a sealed box i dont think it makes much of diff if they're divided

19 posts in & we're still not EXACTLY SURE what his question is, due to his lack of specificity. Classic.

Ad, clear this up and you will get an answer. If you have to, post some pics of what you're trying to describe. >.>
