Tuesday, December 30, 2008 - 20:28 GMT The Q has more excursion. I would prefer the Q because it's more SQ based.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008 - 02:39 GMT "x2" basically means they second what the person in the above post said, or they agree with it. Can I ask why you are concerned about xmax?

Wednesday, December 31, 2008 - 03:03 GMT The Q and BL were intended for different things. First ask yourself intent. Then execute.

Friday, January 02, 2009 - 17:25 GMT Not that there is anything wrong with FI, but are you stuck on FI only? If so, why?

Friday, January 02, 2009 - 19:38 GMT The BL would get louder than the Q, and I have heard a few people say the BL isn't too far off from the sq of the Q, but I doubt it hits as low. An SSA Icon is pretty similar to the Q as well.

Monday, January 12, 2009 - 14:12 GMT If looking at Fi only, and wanting to use a sealed box, go with the Q. Excellent sub woofer for the money.

Monday, January 12, 2009 - 16:31 GMT I have both BL/Q...The Q with no options. It gets loud off of 1000 rms, sounds real good, not great on the higher bass notes. Now the BL is fully loaded, laughs at 1200 rms, sounds good not like the Q, does better on the upper bass notes but doesnt play as low as the Q. Overall I like the Q better. I wish I had the Q with the BP option Q is in a 4cube box tuned to 28 BL is in a 4 cube box tuned to 30
