Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 03:55 GMT I wondering what I should do, I'm in the process of building my new system for my 1995 bmw 318i sedan. I want to use new model re xxx 12. Just wondering if I would be better off with 1 or if I should push it and try to pull off two.

Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 04:17 GMT i'm trying to get the loudest, and clean sound out of the re xxx, I know box wise, it will be running alittle small for it's top output. With that in mind for just one sub, thats why i'm thinking i would be pushing it with 2. plus room for the batts. Just wanted some second opinions.

Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 04:18 GMT one with an equally nice amplifier and proper charging would be enough in my opinion

Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 04:48 GMT One subs in the correct box space is far better than 2 subs in a too small box.

Monday, December 29, 2008 - 00:38 GMT All you need is a single 10" or 12" at most. Theres nothing worse than seeing some kid go by in a beemer with the car rattling to shit. Leave the rims alone too.

Monday, December 29, 2008 - 01:03 GMT Phil I agree. This after making this tread I'm gonna go with a single 12. I'm gonna take my time to make this audio upgrade a very good one. As far as the rims I am probably gonna get aftermarket rims that are made by bmw.

Monday, December 29, 2008 - 01:13 GMT Thats a good choice going with a single sub. It will keep you out of trouble with the alternator too if you dont get power hungry.

Monday, December 29, 2008 - 01:33 GMT Still going to upgrade my electrical cause running a 4k amp with a 4 channel for the front stage would just make sense for getting the best signal I can, and plus a xxx 12 is a little power hungry from what I have heard and read.

Monday, December 29, 2008 - 02:12 GMT 4k Max cause the xxx is 4k peak so considering rms is about half 2k would then be all I would push on it. So you are correct that I wouldn't run 4k to it. Just matching peak to peak.
