any guesses on comp set Brand/price?
any recommendations on amp to run these lil monsters active.
also need some tips and recommendations on proper procedures on integrating this comp set into my already loud front stage.
existing front stage- Cadence CLV-S693 {(6x9 comp set) /woofer in doors /tweets-(2in factory dash and 2 on top a- pillar)}. Comes with 4 tweets and is run passive. off an Alpine MRV-F550. Also have 2- 22mm Pioneer tweets mounted on lower A- pillar off of old Alpine t303 (30x2 wrms) I still have half of that amp(2 channels) to work with as well as they are powering 2 6.5 infinity reference co-axles (rearfill). I can run them off of HU.
TCK-- I really like the amp... wish it had a lil more power at 4 ohm. but not really sweatin it. Running these comps passive is not out of the question. keep the advise coming, bro's!
side note- This frontstage has to come though 2(atm-3rd coming soon)18" alpha V.2 off of RD5750.1 @ .5 ohm
drill battery... or cheap power? .... extension cord
???
i am not wanting cheap power... I would like inexpensive but quality power(even if it is $500-as long as it is a good deal) AND advice(of which you left none). <ahem> lol Would rather get good advice from our regulars rather than the other alternative. lol
i have a keeker zx460 laying around.. specs:4 x 30W @ 4 ohms (0.02% THD) 4 x 60W @ 2 ohms 4 x 90W @ 1 ohm 2 x 120W @ 4 ohms bridged 2 x 180W @ 2.66 ohms bridged 2 x 180W @ 2 ohms bridged Fuse: 2 x 30A Dimensions: 14.35" x 10" x 2.75" (36.45cm x 25.4cm x 7cm)
do yalll think that this amp would suffice (@4 ohm bridged run passive)until a better amp comes along to run active or run the mid off the keeker A 4 ohm bridged and run the tweets off of 2 the alpine channels.. (90w x2 @ 4 ohm) decisions, decisions, sigh
