Quick amp question! please help

Silver Member Username: SnacksQuincy, Florida USA Post Number: 120 Registered: Jul-08 | i got out of car audio for a while so i forgot a few things. im looking at buying this amp http://cgi.ebay.com/MA-AUDIO-HK-1998-1200-WATT-MONO-CAR-AMP-AMPLIFIER-AMPS_W0QQi temZ120344491555QQcmdZViewItem its an MA Audio HK-1998 1200 w amp, it says 1 X 1200W RMS @ 1-ohm Mono i have 2 4 ohm Kicker CVRs that i can wire down to 1 ohm. Mono means i can bridge my subs right? im a little confused, will that amp work for what ive got? |

Gold Member Username: Dustin3D&L Designs Post Number: 4867 Registered: Oct-05 | well the specs are: 1 X 1200W RMS @ 1-ohm Mono 1 X 600W RMS @ 2-ohm mono 1 X 500W RMS @ 4-ohm Mono 1200 is a bit too much for cvr's but you will prob. only see 1000 maybe out of the amp anyways. So you will be fine |

I think its a wiring problem, i have no idea what it is. just stopped working one day. the power light on both amps stayed off. i have a 'front stage' amp and its on (diff power wire) could it maybe be the remote wire? |
