A soldered connecton is superior to anything else.... but not practical in this case..... the best thing for this are "quick disconnects" from radioshack. They crimp on the wire and you push them together. Makes a secure connection and you can literally change connections in a second. |

Sure soldering would be the superior connection if you're using the correct solder and actually know how to solder correctly. But in this case, you can't beat a direct copper on copper connection using wire nuts with some electrical tape wrapped around. It will be far superior to a shitty crimp job using male/female disconnects and also doesn't take that long to remove and rewire. |
