Is this a good setup so far?

15'' Dual 4 Ohm Voice Coil

Lanzar VCT1200
1950W Max, Vector Series Monoblock Amplifier
Lanzar Vector series monoblock Car Amplifier
200 watts x 2 Chan. @ 4 ohms
350 watts x 2 Chan. @ 2 ohms
1950 watts x 1 Chan. Max

Dual XDM6820
50W x 4 chan. peak power

I don't know what speakers to get.

Sub is good. Both amps are crap.

I would scratch lanzar and dual, check out cadence, their factory outlet on their website has some HIGH quality amps for dirt cheap

alpine pdx amps r good so u can go with that - 1000 monoblock for the sub & either a 2 or 4chan for ur speakers ....

Ok well I've got a amp and sub picked out.

Now I need to know is their any specific kind of wiring kit that I need for the sub? Type R 15 2 Ohms

wiring kit depends on the amp..... and i hope its not a lanzar/dual

I would say for speakers get some 12' kickers with custom boxes and some blue neon (or preferred color) to brighten them up, with the help and power of the infamous Orion 225 HCCA. The old school amp is great if you can find it. I blare my used 10' kickers on one and yet to hear any signs of them blowing out.
