Need help with mid range subs

i have 2- 8" rd classic that i am going to be using for mid rang in my rear doors but my cut out is only for 6.5" speakers but i need an enclosure for them how should i install them? should i cutout the hole and make an enclosure in the door or should i make an enclosure and add it to my doors? plz help me so i can start making it so i can hear them. thanks

if u haven't deadened your doors and have them all sealed up, u wanna do that. Asfar as cutting a bigger hole...i'd try and see if u can just make some MDF rings and then use some of that non hardening clay to seal it all up.

depends.. if the QTS is high then they would be good for freeair.. you cut just make a new baffle and mount them into the doors..

if not your best bet it to hack the doorpanel and make a pod that fits inside
