Bronze Member Username: Skateguy92Post Number: 27 Registered: Jul-07 | I just got a new box built that fits flush with the back of my expidition so I was hoping to keep it for a while, it looks very nice. I need to upgrade my woofers though and was wondering which woofers would be BEST to stick in that box. I have around 1000-1500w RMS to work with (stock electrical but 130a alt) Just trying to find out options, dont want to go to the local stereo shop and get bent over backwards. Cliffnotes - need a good 12" woofer (or actually pair) that will play well in a 2.3cuft box tuned to 34htz. Thanks in advance. |

Gold Member Username: MendonmafiaUSA Post Number: 1571 Registered: Aug-06 | sx's will be Very good in that box off of that amplification. i found that slightly smaller 4 net cube box was better because i was bottoming them out but i was running 2k rms and my origional box was 5 cubes net. so basically you will be good. maybe throw a small battery in the back to help keep the voltage up cuz there gonna eat up every last bit of the 1500 rms you have. |
