took me long enough but i finally got around to taking some pics... short sh!tty vid as well haha. there is also no need to mention about the wire going in the port. direct connection ftw, idc what anybody says. my amp cover is off at the moment too. i need a place to mount the thing :/
i have plans of bed-lining the box, and sticking a neon near the plexi. when will i do that? who knows...
i am surprisingly getting more rattle than i did with my 18"Q. only difference is it's firing rear instead of up.
after hearing the HDC3 for awhile now i've come to a few conclusions. for one i am very much awed at how low of an extension it has. keeps up to what my Q did until around 30hz. doesn't have the same sq of course, but it doesn't sound bad, and does good keeping up on metal type music.
i did think it would get louder, being a 54lb sub, but i also try to not let my charge go below 14v. btw i'm using a RF X7 that supposedly does ~1650wrms@ 2ohm. there are rumors its 1ohm stable though... only thing i am really disappointed about is i figured it would have much better mid range, especially over my Q, which it doesn't. overall i'm happy with it though, and i'm sure i'll get to pushing it little by little to see what it can really do.
