I was able to bypass the parking brake on my Jensen UV9 by doing the following; I installed the system BUT did not connect the pink wire to the parking brake, a switch, a battery or anything at all and it works perfectly!
Step 1: turn on the system in the AM/FM radio tuner mode Step 2: press the "Setup" key on the units remote control, you should hear a beep Step 3: key "543210" on the remote listening for a beep after each key Step 4: a menu will come up on screen, touch "Settings" Step 5: touch "Brake Bypass" then select "On" from the drop down Step 6: touch the "X" in the bottom left corner Step 7: pop in a movie and enjoy!
