Crunch PowerZone P500.2 500w amp + 12" + 10"

juan New member Username: Juan4u Post Number: 1 Registered: Nov-08	Posted on Thursday, November 06, 2008 - 21:03 GMT hey everyone. my dad put a system in my car as a surprise, and i need some advice. i have this amp: http://www.caraudiodeals.com/crunch-p5002-p-1816.html and a 12" mtx sub now as far as i know my amp is only 2ch at 250w at 2 ohms, or 125w at 4ohms. can somebody explain ohms to me if it isn't a bother? my question is, would it be worth it to get a 10" mtx sub? would a 12" and 10" mess things up(or just be an unhealthy practice), would it be weaker than a 500w 12", what would be the best setup to optimize my bass? i picked up a dynamat trunk kit today, if that ends up being a factor. thanks for reading
