Amplifier question

New member Username: KdogggPost Number: 3 Registered: Oct-08 | i have my L5 12 inch solo baric kicker subs which push 600 watt rms per sub...should my amp be 600 watt rms or should it be 1200 rms since there are 2 subs?? |

Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Philadelphia, PA Post Number: 8802 Registered: Jul-06 | 1200w or more. If the subs are dual 4 ohm you need a 1 ohm stable amp. A 2 ohm amp if they're dual 2 ohm. |

Diamond Member Username: BestmankindPost Number: 22775 Registered: Oct-05 | for the kicker L5, i would get a kicker zx1000.1. its 2ohm stable and it can be bought fairly cheap on ebay and will give you the power you need to those L5s. i know a bunch of guys with that setup. its pretty good. not a fan of L5 but their system sound alright i guess.  |
