I bought the 520t backup battery system for my viper alarm and am now hesitant to open and install. I believe (not sure) the 520t triggers when a voltage drop occurs in case a thief tries to disconnect the battery. I'm worried that when I have my amps drawing excessive power from my battery it may trigger my alarm. Anyone know about this?
That feature probably is only working when the alarm is turned on right? Try looking at the manual and seeing if it says anything about it. If it doesn't try to find some info on Viper's website.
