There are also several high end home theater speaker manufacturers who used or are still using TC's LMS technology, but they are well camoflauged and very hard to identify because generally, companies don't like to discuss OEM partnerships. As these guys have said, it just doesn't get any better than the LMS series and the TC5200. Debatably, the only sub that can match it on a technology level + SQ at high SPL, is the JBL GTI. If you can find a deal on a TC or AP sub in good shape, buy it without hesitation. |
Bronze Member Username: Bp_productions30Post Number: 12 Registered: Sep-08 | well these subs are a few hundred dollars cheaper than re xxx 12's which is what i was looking ti get. so do these stack up against the xxx's new and old models. |
Gold Member Username: Hittin1Lake Charles, La. United States Post Number: 1530 Registered: May-07 | Yes they are in the same league as the XXX's... if you can save that kind of coin by going with AP, Do it! |
Gold Member Username: MgbcsMaple Grove, Minnesota Post Number: 2657 Registered: Dec-06 | The XXX is a great sub, but from experience the TC/AP is second to none. JMO |
