Need help building a box for a JL13w7

But now I need a box, and I got a quote to make a box and they said it would be $400. But I think I'm going to build myself so it's much cheaper. PORTED for sure, because thats what JL recommends and I want moer SPL than SQ. I just need help, SLOT or ROUND ports? How do I tune box? What should it be tuned to? How big should box be also? I have a cadillac deville so, no real worries on size of box, ill go as big as possible. Help.

Both ported boxes, both setups would be powered by 1 JL 1000/1. So which setup would have better... SQ? SPL?

Also the sound quality of the w6's would be better as well. I can egt a 13w7 for $400. But what else should I look into?

But its no blown! It's pissing me off cause I dont want to blow it, and I know I can power it way more!
