Thursday, October 23, 2008 - 21:47 GMT well my friend juss txt me and said his main fuse blew and the amp sparked where the ground wire comes in and asked me what happened. now i havent looked at it and i dont even know what sub/amp he juss said he has a 500 watt amp and he's usin 4ga wire. any ideas?

Thursday, October 23, 2008 - 22:30 GMT touch metal with the live wire? if so not usually a good thing ... most of the time turns to a smoked amplifier ... replace the fuse and make sure all the connections are secure if it doesnt come on then u know theres an issue ... check the grounds ... probably the most overlooked piece of a properly installed system
