Silver Member Username: Evildoughboy08Toledo, OH US and A Post Number: 170 Registered: Jun-08 | im pretty sure i have this one hands down, but i just want some reassurance... this little kid at my school gets his liscence next week, and he keeps runnin his mouth about having the loudest system at the school. well when I'm the only competition because there's only one other person with a single shallow mount sony 10 in his mini truck, it wouldn't be that much to brag about. BUT he has 2 12" kicker comps (bottom of the barrel right?) and I have 4 12" JL W0s(once again, bottom of the barrel). who will put out more SPL? (oh and he has an little hatchback and I have a really small trunk car) |

This isn't a matter of more SPL, it is a matter of what is loudest to the ear. What type of power are both of u running? If the same power...unless he has alot of flaws in his install, he could be louder than you in that hatch. |

Silver Member Username: Evildoughboy08Toledo, OH US and A Post Number: 172 Registered: Jun-08 | well i've heard a lot about kicker subs blowing with too much power, and i've heard that JLs handle power good. my JLs are getting 200rms a piece, and his kickers can probably only handle 600 max(kicker specs, he could prolly put 850 in em) so im prtty sure i have more power p.s. i just got home from work, and this dude i work with gave me a ride home with 2 15s, and they were AUDIOBAHN. and im pretty sure i need to get rid of my box that has 2 subs on front side and 2 on the back because i think they're just beating on each other. the bass just sounded so different in his car...but the good thing is that he said he has 2 2 12 boxes, on ported and one sealed, and they fit in his trunk and his car is smaller than mine, so i might take them off him and see how it sounds with 2 seperate boxes |

If this were in fact a true story, then this b1tch needs to be offed. She used 50/50 to eliminate Europe and a Killer Whale. Last time I checked, Europe > Elephant so using associative property (I believe) you can come to the realizatoin that if Europe > Elephant and Moon > Europe, it would be safe to assume that Moon > Elephant. Maybe thats just me though |

Also, Dude make a good box and you could win... but subs facing opposite directions is terrible. If there is no time to change it. you could adjust the phase (if your running 2 amps) Not really sure it would help, but at this point it couldnt hurt. I have no idea if it is fake or not... I just found it and thought it was appropriate.  |
