Building a box, need port measurements ?

sandeep New member Username: Delete Post Number: 3 Registered: Sep-05	Posted on Friday, September 19, 2008 - 17:22 GMT got 2x 12" soundstream t4 subs. more technical stuff on the link below... http://www.soundstream.com/manuals/2...RTNTULA-T4.pdf measurements of the internal box : height - 13", depth - 16", length - 33" which is 4 cubic ft. vent tuned to around 30hz if its possible going to have the slot vent in the middle with the t4 sub on each side of the slotted vent. can anyone find out measurements for the vent from the box measurements provided ? thanks.
~2-L0uD-4-u~ New member Username: Tooloudforyou Post Number: 6 Registered: Aug-08	Posted on Friday, September 19, 2008 - 17:29 GMT 40 sq inches of port = 22.72"long 50 sq inches of port = 29.09" long 60 sq inches of port = 35.52" long i recommend using 60 square inches of port area....but the choice is up to you and the ammount of room you have. REMEMBER: you have to add this to the 4 cubic feet of volume...do Not just place a port in the design, your box is going to be bigger the 4 cubic feet with this port.
