Problem with system

My system was working fine (subs,amp) I swapped out my CD player with one I had in another car that was running a system just fine. Now my subs hum when the volume is down. I checked the ground on the amp and it's fine. I checked the RCA's and there fine. Could the ground on the CD player cause them to hum. None of the other speakers hum. If not, what else could make them hum

what kind of HU do you have?

is it a Pioneer?

i had the same problem kinnnnda check your fuses and remote,,,, make sure your rcas arnt fuccckkkked at the ends thats what happened with mine my box moved a bit and bend one of the ends of them on my wheel wel

the one I just put in is a pioneer. I didn't have problems with it before however

try grounding your RCAs

How do I ground the RCA's
do I ground them at the back of the head unit or at the amp or doesn't it matter

Yep sounds like the POS pioneer RCA problem

i had that problem one time and the RCAs werent plugged in all the way but it was a JVC HU but try grounding the RCAs

you can only hear the humming when the volume is all the way down.
