so the biggest comp around started at 1 today and for some reason i thought it started at 5. i had to work anyways but i showed up at like 6 and they were handing out trophys. i talked to the guy and i got to get a reading for 10 bucks. so i figured y not. my system is still not done but i wanted to see what i would get. when i pulled up some dude started yelling he has a wall! and i ended up having a croud of people around me saying how cool i was.
i got 150.5 off music. and they said i would have got 1st in my class if i would have got first.
i burped a 150.7 at 50Hz i didn't think i would get that because i don't have it sealed off or sanded and smooth around the port. its pretty much just a box with subs facing the front.
i had to share because i got a lot of attention and i like attention. cant wait to get this thing finished and see what kind of numbers i hit!
it was some bass mecha song or something. i really don't know what it was i was playing.
i needs tips! now that i got 150 i am hoping to get a 155 on a burp with sealing off the front of the car and making it into a real wall i know it will help but idk how much. i have some sanding on the port.
any tips?

and it was at the front dash with one door open. i am guessing that is legal? i thought it would be louder with a door closed. but idk. every one else did it with the door open in the comp i watched last time

no pics. i was not there all day people were leaving as came. believe it or not. i have nothing to show because i didn't have a phone at the time to take pics keep in mind this is missouri. there is not any one with big scores that i have seen and half the people are hillbilly's like me. ill post some pics of stuff when i actually get in a comp
the 150.5 was not an average. it was the highest number from the song and i know that it doesn't work like that in bassrace but i was not in the comp. i just got to use there meter and show off to the people that had not left.

It sucks to see guys get flamed and all, but next time I guess you'll be good and prepared. Just have a friend or someone take a video of you burping and capture a close up of the score. Make sure they are using a TL meter, because otherwise the number wont matter to most of us on the forum. Do you have any pictures of the set-up? I'm just interested in how you went about the build, I've got 4 15"s myself. Thanks
If the show you went to was in Springfield, MO at Creative Audio's tent sale it was a MidWest SPL show by Steve Benton and the meter was a tl on the dash db drag style. Nice score
