i have a 1995 cadillac deville 4.9 v8 right now i have 2 alpine type r 12s in the trunk with a 1000zx kicker class d amp pushing them with and 800 kinetic battery my main problem i have is that my battery cable coming from my alternator is bad and will eventually jus die. my car is also low on amperage becuase it only has a stock 140amp alternator. im about to redo my system by adding 2 more alpine rs and another 1000 watt kicker amp. instead of changing the cable im going to change the alternator any seggesgtions on alternators. n will i need to upgrade to zero gauge ??? and also ive have never reali herd the real volume of my rs bein the cut out wen the bass gets loud enough will 4 alpine r 12s be enough bass or should i try and add maybe 5 or 6?????
