I had to replace the light bulb in my clock, so i took it out and then i could also see down on top of the radio to get the serial number. What i did then was i found a local honda dealership and a local car stereo installer. I called the dealership and said "Hello, this is Caleb with (whatever the name of the car stereo place is)" and told them "i have an 02 honda accord in my shop and we need the stereo unlock code" And the guy gave it to me. The funny thing is after he gave me the number i noticed that those same numbers were written on the front of the owners manual, but weren't labled as the unlock code...just random numbers on a page. You can also call 1-800-999-1009 with the serial number for your radio and your car VIN # and they will look up the code for free once you prove you are the owner of the car. To find the serial number of your radio, turn your car onto the I or II position so the engine isn't running. Press the 1 and 6 numbers at the same time and turn on the radio while pressing these buttons. This will give you the serial number for your radio. |

I waited almost 2 hours for mechanics to try and figure it out. They wrote down the codes above. I only hope that they got that part right. The radio was working when I took it into their shop. The only reason I would go back there is to get money back from them. |
