New member Username: DrunknspikePost Number: 1 Registered: Aug-08 | ive got my amp and sub wired up im running it off a sony cdx f7500 http://www.sony.co.uk/product/ica-cd...TechnicalSpecs ive got amp+sub wired to 2 ohm sub http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/prod...2d_p-21053.htm amp http://www.suttonautosound.com/shop/...cat=286&page=1 as my head unit is 2v ive tried setting my amp gain to match as its a digital amp has buttons to set gains i can see what the gains are on the lcd but it doesent have a 2.0 setting only 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5/0.7/1.0/1.5/2.5/4.0/8.0 ive set it to 2.5 as its the closest to 2v but isnt very loud (the subs hardley moving) the head unit bass is set to none eq off sub on full amp bass eq off lp filter 85 (theres no 80) subsonic filter 15hz lp slope 24db can any one tell me how to get the bass up and the sub moving thanx |

Bronze Member Username: ChevelleLancaster, Pa Usa Post Number: 94 Registered: Feb-05 | do you have another gain if it is digital you should have two also if it is anything like the kicker sx amps set you highpass at 25HZ and a 12db slope on the highpass.My sx amp had the same trouble had to lower the highpass to adjust the LPF down i don't have 80 it's at 82 adjust the gain at 6 that should get you going and not the gain you use to do the voltage set it on 2 |
