New member Username: Raydizzle34Post Number: 1 Registered: Aug-08 | I have 2 Kenwood KFC-W3011's. They are 12" subs and are rated at 1200 Watts max and 400 Watts RMS a piece. What kind of amp should I be getting? I was looking at the Profile AP2000 b/c it is a 2-channel amp with 320 Watts RMS from each channel at 4 ohms but I have never installed a system before and just wanted to see if I was doing all of this correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Platinum Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 10433 Registered: Jun-04 | The alpine amp will only deliver 400 watts to your subs and your subs can handle 400 rms each. The kicker 750.1 would give them that much and more because kicker under rated this amp. Some birth sheets were claiming 900 watts rms. If you bought one of these amps you could run it to your subs and they would be fine since all decent built subs can take a little over their rated power for daily use. Heres is a kicker 750.1 with with a 869 watt birth sheet for 199.99 shipped. |
