Well a few days ago all of a sudden my speakers started makeing this unbareable screeching. When the amp turns on its fine but when i plug in the RCAs it makes the screeching noise and goes into protect mode. So, i put back in my old amp that worked perfect before. Now it makes this popping noise everytime something electrical gets turned on and also an alternator whine( both of my amps that is ). So, im thinking the amplifier messed up my headunit. Also, i had a car alarm installed at best buy before i put my old amp back in if that is any significance. i also added a second ground from my headunit to the battery. ( i didnt wanna cut the current one ) it still didnt do anything. I also ran a new RCA from the headunit to the amp. Also, i ran an ipod to the amp and the speakers played flawlessly
