Two amps

Hey i have a fusion nv2004 4ch amp and a panasonic cy-pa4003 4 ch. the nv is already installed wth a 4g install kit. how do i hook the other one up to the same power cable?

You need to run a new wire for the new amp, you can't just put a distro block on the old which would pull too much current through it. Unless that wire is actually bigger than the fusion amp specifies.

ok my fault i should have asked what size wire he had ran to the amp. he also needs another set of jacks or amd some splitters? M.S? id put the splitters on the HU and run 2 sets of RCA's

His HU should have rca jacks so just another set of rca cables.

4 guage wire is plenty for those 2 amplifiers. What you need to do is buy a 4ga input to dual 8 (or quad 8) output distrobution block. Run the 4 ga power wire into the block, and run an 8 guage line out of the block into each amp. As far as the ground is concerned, you can keep your existing ground, and put a distro block on it as well.

by the way... how much roughly is a dist. block and where can i get one from in auck?
