Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 02:24 GMT I know I should just buy an amp but I don't have enough money right now, so if I were to hook up my 2 subs directly to the head unit, what would be the best way to do so? Would I just splice the two subs into the rear speaker channels?

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 02:41 GMT sounds wreckless.....better to just wait until you have enough money for a amp...or you might be dishing out more money to get a new HU..

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 03:11 GMT even IF it doesnt hurt anything, most likely the subs wont move, and they will also play the highs through them, not just bass

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 03:29 GMT Wrong wrong wrong. And even more wrong. What HU? What subs? What are you thinking? Just fugging with ya. You need a dedicated amp for your subs. Using the left and right channels from your HU will only end in disaster. Nothing will fry or burn but you'll wish it had.
