Bigger wire??

corey hurtig Silver Member Username: Dubmc23 Rapid City, SD USA Post Number: 264 Registered: Sep-07	Posted on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 - 23:53 GMT the fed ex man dropped of my 12" kicker cvx's today and i hooked them up to my kx1200.1 but when i turn it up the amp will cut out and words sound all choppy...does this mean that i will need to upgrade from 4 awg to 0 awg wire??
Mike Loudon Gold Member Username: Loudon Post Number: 2555 Registered: Jun-04	Posted on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 - 00:11 GMT i would but i will look into upgrading alot of different aspects first .. check ur connections .. make sure the ground is secure secondly, make sure you have proper power running to the amplifier ... what type of electrical system are you running? if its stock .. look into upgrading ur cars electrical system ... double check everything and let us know what you find ... well help you to upgrade everything
