and everything was cool til i hooked up my d block and my other amp for my subs then outta nowhere im gettin this whistlin noise that gets higher and higher frequencies the higher the engine revs.

i want to say its engine noise but they do it even when the car is turned to ACC (although not as loud)

is your power wire running through the firewall to get to your battery? depending on how close your power wire is to the engine, it can cause the whining noise when you rev the engine i beilieve...

ya my power wire is 4 GA running through my firewall to my trunk along the drivers side of the car. after it gets to my trunk it is run in line with a mini capacitor and then split into 2 8 GA. one for a kenwood KAC-6404, running 2 kicker DS5250 and 2 DS680. then on my subs amp(the subs arent hooked up right now) is a lanzar vibe 251. the ground wire from both of those are 8 GA running back to the (-) on the capacitor and then a 4 GA on the capacitor to the chassis. then i have 3 seperate sets of RCA cables (2 for highs and one for subs) running along the passenger side of the car. HU is a pioneer DEH-P500UB.

i tried to make sure that the power wire wasn't clost to the RCAs, and it just started making this noise after i hooked up the capactor.}

the housing would be the metal enclosure that you see from the outside. On a decent amp there are 2 or 4 holes for you to screw it down with. Either screw it down to the body of your car or run a wire through one of the holes and then to a ground.
