Looking for a system for a 2004 caddy. I could care less about a term lab number. But want to POUND!!
I tryed a coulpe different setups in the past and they do aight but still looking for the king of prodjects system.
I have a box for three fifteens in there now. It is tuned to 28hz.
I have tryed T2's by fosgate, Cadence sh-t, Image dynamics (were real good for a few days but cannot take my abuse), JL, and even a couple others.
I have two zapco 4000 watt, one is messed up so i can either get the one fixed or get a new amp. My highs are on point i have 5 sets of old school mb quarts.
This ride has not been driven yet this year because i have not got the sound right. I keep it in a storage around the way to keep them boyz off my shiznit.
it does, besides the key scratches from my baby moms. Luckily she scratched it in a straight line almost. So i am gretting grafics painted on the 15th to cover it up and make it look better.
I was going to buy tc sounds like 4 months ago the lms ones. But they stoped answering the phones and went out business. I was told this is the same people so i think why buy from unstable people because i most likely will need a repair here and there. Look like nice subs though.
"Image dynamics (were real good for a few days but cannot take my abuse)"
"because i most likely will need a repair here and there."
sounds like you should learn how to set up your system this time around before you waste more money.
but you should add mach5 spls', sundown nightshades, and maybe pierce audio wmds in there to. personally, i'd go mach5 or sundown. just remember to not ruin your new subs this time.
Well, the shops i go to adjust the gains and set everything up for me. I have plenty of juice to power everything so when products fail that a shop says won't i don not know what to say.
The tsns nor Mach 5 spls will not work since the Fs is just way to high and are geared for higher tuning. I want to stay tuned in the upper 20's. This is the problem i had with the Btl's and other large subs. They hit hard but 28hz takes a toll on them spiders over time.
I am willing to run more subs then 3 but want to stay tuned very low.
ya it sounds like you are most likely setting up the systems wrong which is the key in getting it to perform right. HPF, LPF, gain, all that affects it. and wiring of the subs to the amp in the correct ohms of course
How did you mess up a zapco 4kw? Those amps are honestly built like tanks.
I would run a pair of AP LMS Ultras 18s or TC sounds LMS 5400 18s if you can find them. It will be more than loud enough and the sq will be top notch.
Pics of all this random stuff would be nice. The last person on here that claimed to have ALOT of nice stuff seemed to be faking it for several years... no names needed...
I have 24" 3 peice asanti's on it that are black and chrome. 4 head rests, my baby moms damaged my truck two days before the dub show, buy hey now i am getting grafics and will never let that b-tch near any of my vehicles.
them amps are the ones that look like there stacked on top each other. I have had them in 3 diffrent cars and one has finally given out. I think it is the one i bought that was a display model.
I will sell them if i can find one amp to take the place of two or two amps that can go lower in ohms and still offer good sq.
What shops in ATL do you go to? I know about every shop in the area, and it seems to me they do not set your gains correct or do not know how to build a box. I am not far form ATL at all and my installer has had to fix a couple things that some shops in the area has done.
The main thing, is what are you wanting to do? Where in ATl are you exactly? Maybe we can meet up and I show you a few things. Shoot me an email if you want.
