Good subs that handle 900 peak 450 rms each

I got a good amp that does 450 watts rms x2@2ohms id like to rn a pair of 15's any suggestions im looking for daily pounding of music with the occaisional burp for a contest or something love to hear some ideas !

you might want to take a look at audioque sd 2's they are rated for 300 rms but you should be able to overdrive them a little for daily use....just set your gain to a safe power level with a dmm

look into ascendant audio atlas. probably your best bet. i know i'd take them over kicker cvr's allllll day

lol its a soundstream xta 880.2 i wouldnt call kenwood good. I wouldnt call soundstream great but id call it good

I dont know why I thought I read kenwood haha....yeah kenwood amps would not be good in my book either but your amp is not 2 ohms stable bridged (only 4 ohms) and it looks like your only going to put out about 600 rms with that amp at 14.4 volts after efficiency loss (60 x 14.4 = 864 minus 30 % = 604)

so scrap the idea i gave about two audioque sd 2's that would put you at 2 ohms bridged

its stable stereo 2 ohms so i can run a dvc sub at 2 ohms to get 440 x 2 or 880x1 at 4 ohms with 2 dual 4 ohm subs i thought or am i wrong ???

you can but then youll have no crossover control to filter out the frequencies that shouldnt be playing through the sub so you need a pair of subwoofers that will give you a 4 ohm load....what vehicle is this are you sure you have the room for two 15's

this is for a 96 taurus wagon but i might be getting a minivan 02 caravan so im cool on room.

also i have a crossover just for the subs with filter and boost +12 db but il be keeping it off. a;so how does bumping the ohms to 2 ohms make me lose crossover or making them run together at 4 ohm would that make me lose my crossover?? Im so confused?
