So I found someone with a pair of these, they are single 4 ohm, and my amp will do about 900w @ 2 ohms. Anyone have any experience with these? Will 450w apiece be enough? They would be sealed BTW.

Or would I be better off doing 1 ported @ ~30hz of around ~600w?

If they are the newer chinese Eclipse, I would put NO MORE than rated on them in sealed and lil less than rated for ported. I have seen alot of them bite the dust in my area.

I'm not sure where they were made, but I believe these have the TC9 motors if that means anything.

If they are TC made, go for it. Shouldn't be too bad off 450 a piece. I am sure they are efficient enough to run well off that power.

The guy told me $260 shipped for the pair, but has yet to give me pics. I am still waiting for a few people to get back to me on other subs.

I am also interested in scott s pg Ti, but ~900w is enough to push it. Also, waiting on a guy to get me pics of his revo and BCS to get me some pics and price for his tc3k.

I'VE GOT TOO MUCH ON MY MIND!!!

the 88120 is either a tc9 motor or tc7 its hard to tell though. they are decent subs and will do great with the power you are thinking about putting to them
the ed nine.1 would e a good amp for your application as well
